Export or delete your Welcome Book Builder data

Download your Welcome Book Builder account data and original files. Learn how to cancel renewal, delete your account and remove a local browser draft.

Choose the data action you need

An account export, a browser-draft backup and a guest PDF serve different purposes. Use the account export for your records, a JSON backup to restore browser-draft text, and PDF export for a printable published guide.

Download your account data

Open Account and choose Download my data. The JSON file contains your guides, published versions, import review records and a list of uploaded files. Original documents and images are not bundled into a ZIP. The export lists their download paths, starting with /api/. Open those paths on this site while signed in, and save the files you need before deleting your account.

Cancel subscription renewal first

If you have a recurring subscription, cancel renewal through Manage subscription in Billing before deleting your account. Deleting a property or clearing a browser draft does not cancel billing.

Delete your account

  1. Download the account data and original files you want to keep.
  2. In Account, choose Delete my account.
  3. Read the warning, type DELETE and confirm that you have saved what you need.
  4. Choose Delete my account to finish.

Deletion removes your account and stops access to its guides. Private files are queued for background deletion, so physical file removal is not immediate. You cannot undo this action.

Downloaded copies cannot be recalled

Account deletion cannot remove PDFs, photos, screenshots or printed pages someone has already saved. The Data retention page explains how service records and recovery copies are handled.

Remove a browser draft

A browser-only draft is separate from your account and is not included in an account export. Download its text backup if you want to keep it, then clear this site’s browser storage to remove the local copy. Photos selected in the browser editor disappear when you reload or leave and are not included in the backup.
