Guest guide languages and property time zones

Set your rental’s local time zone and write your own guide text in your chosen language. Learn which interface labels remain in English.

Set the language and time for the property

Your interface language, the language of your own writing and the property’s time zone are separate settings or content choices. Choosing a time zone does not translate the guide or change a guest’s booking arrangements.

The interface is in English

The editor, guest interface, help center and sample guides are in English. You can write your own guide text in another language, but system labels stay in English. There is no automatic translation or guest language menu.

Choose the language of your own text

Guide content language in Guide settings records the language you write in, such as en for English. It does not translate your instructions. Check names, directions and other important details yourself, and have someone fluent review any language you do not know well.

Use the property’s time zone

Choose the property’s time zone when creating it, or update it in Guide settings. Check-in and check-out times are shown in the property’s local time. They do not change to match the guest’s phone time zone. Keep the same times in your booking information.

Check copied guides and templates

After copying a guide or choosing a template, check the time zone and check-in and check-out times. Template settings describe fictional properties. Publish changes to these details before expecting them to appear in the guest guide.
