Reuse a checked starting point
Copying is useful when two rentals share a writing style or similar instructions. It creates an independent draft or section, so check property-specific details before publishing and review each copy when something changes.
Copy a whole guide
- In My properties, open Property actions for the guide you want to copy.
- Choose Copy guide and enter a new internal name.
- Create the copy, then open its draft and update the property details.
The copy has no active guest link. It counts toward your property limit, including while it is a draft. Adding a copy is unavailable during a billing grace period or after hosting expires.
Copy one section
Open the source section in the editor and choose Copy section. Select another property in your account and confirm. The section is added to that property’s draft. If the destination has changed in another tab, load its latest saved version before trying again.
Check details from the original property
- Update the property name, area and time zone.
- Check addresses, parking, Wi-Fi and contact details.
- Replace appliance instructions and photos that do not match.
- Remove any text that applies only to the original property.
Maintain each copy separately
Later edits to one guide do not update the others. Review and publish each property’s guide separately. Browser drafts can start from a template, but they cannot copy an account guide or section directly.
