Export a guest guide PDF and check privacy options

Export an A4 or Letter PDF from a published guest guide. Choose sections, review private information and learn how optional guest PDF downloads work.

Check the version before exporting

PDF export requires an active hosting plan and a published account guide. It captures that published version rather than unsaved or unpublished edits. Read the selected content and privacy options before sharing the file.

Choose sections from the published guide

With an active hosting plan, open Export PDF for a published account guide. Choose A4 or US Letter, then the sections to include. The export uses the current published version, including its saved photos. Draft edits are not included.

Check the privacy options

  • Wi-Fi password and section text are excluded unless you include them. The network name can still appear.
  • The address, directions link and arrival section text are excluded unless you include them. A check-in time can still appear.
  • The host’s contact details and contact section are excluded unless you include them.

These options apply to the dedicated fields and sections. Information typed elsewhere, such as a phone number in a welcome paragraph, is not automatically removed. Read every selected section and check its images before sharing the file.

Create and download the file

Choose Create PDF. You can close the panel while it is queued or being prepared. Reopen Export PDF and select an item under Recent exports to check its status. When it is ready, choose Download PDF. For a failed export, choose Try again and submit the export again. Contact support if it keeps failing.

Offer a PDF in the guest guide

  1. Publish the guide.
  2. Enable PDF downloads in Guide settings and wait for the setting to save.
  3. In Export PDF, select Make this PDF available from the guest guide and create the file.

Guest PDFs always exclude the dedicated Wi-Fi password, Wi-Fi and arrival section text, address and contact section. Check all other content for private details. Downloads are available only through the current guide link and access rules. After publishing an update, create a new guest PDF for that version.

Replace PDFs after updates

A PDF records one published version. It cannot receive later edits, and saved or printed copies cannot be recalled. A browser-draft backup is a JSON file for restoring the editor; it is not a printable guest guide.
