Choose photos that help guests act
Use a clear photograph to identify a parking space, entrance or appliance control. The picture should explain a detail in the guide and have a useful description; a decorative room photo alone may not answer the guest’s question.
Choose a photo that explains something
Show the entrance, parking space or equipment guests need to recognize. Use images you have permission to share and check for visible codes, personal documents and other private details. Template photos are generated examples of fictional properties.
Add a photo and describe it
In the editor, add an Image block and choose Upload image. For a cover photo, open Guide settings and choose Choose a cover image. Use a still JPEG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MiB (about 10.5 MB) and 25 million pixels. Animated images, SVG and video are not supported.
For an image block, add an Image description that explains the useful visual information to someone using a screen reader. Use a caption for instructions, such as which door or control to look for. Wait for the upload and draft save to finish.
Delete unused uploads
Stored images lists uploads for the account property. You can delete an image only if the saved draft and every published version no longer reference it. Removing it from the latest draft alone may not free it for deletion: older published versions also keep their images. If a copied property still needs the file, its copy remains stored.
Photos in browser drafts are temporary
Photos selected in a browser draft or demo disappear when you reload or leave the editor. A draft backup saves text and structure, not the image files. Keep your originals so you can add them again.
Review photos before publishing
Anyone with the guide link can view and save shared photos. Replacing an image or revoking the link stops new access through the service, but cannot remove a copy already saved on someone’s device.
